Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most famous movies. She grew up in an artist family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among others. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
