The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the school's theatre. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp's primary focus was on the stage. She played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the comedy that was interactive, Eat the Runt, she took on eight different characters. Other stage productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp is working on several original projects, including screenplays and productions. Sharp is working on her first full-length studio album. Sharp has a habit of being on camera, behind it as well as in the studio for music, also is a fitness enthusiast. Sharp studies Krav Maga along with boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, go hiking and taking a lengthy road trips. Sharp lives with her family in Los Angeles with family.
